Great safari experience and a memorable family vacation!
We took a trip to Kenya with Right Choice this past August and it was our most memorable and fun vacation as a family. We were 9 adults and 4 kids and travelled to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara.
George, the owner, earned our trust right from the first time we reached out asking for quotes. He provided details, followed up on our questions, helped us craft our itinerary and stayed connected with all the way till we reached back home. He was prompt in getting us support while we were in Nairobi, helping us book additional rooms while we were on the trip and was flexible with our changes. Overall great customer relations and communication skills. All his arrangement exceeded our expectations and the hotels that he picked were great as well.
Our tour guides were the ones that made our stay and safari truly memorable. We had two land cruisers and our guides were Jacob and Opany. They picked us up from the airport, drove us around in Nairobi, stayed with us through the Safari and dropped us back to the airport. They were both warm, fun and knowledgable about the Safaris. Jacob, in particular, was very good at spotting animals and guessing their patterns to a point where he could see things that we could not with our binoculars. He made sure that we saw the big 5, but also covered lots of animals and birds based on the park that we were in. We were lucky to see a Lion family, a Hyena stealing a carcass, Rhinos and not to mention that the several hundred thousand wildebeest doing the migration at the time. It was a great experience overall.

AMAZING SAFARI!!! Fantastic Guide and More Wildlife Than I Thought Was Possible!
Our safari with Right Choice Tours & Safari's was incredible! First-off, the wildlife!!!! Rhino's, Leopards, Lions, Cheetah's, Hippos, Giraffe's, Zebras, Monkeys, and about 40 other animals that are too many to list! Here's the thing... You do not have to search hard for these animals, they are right there for your own eye's to see! It was a rush! The highlight was when we got to a Cheetah hunt, sprint, and catch a Thompson's Gazelle!!!
John, our guide, would have to second to list! He was the most kind, thoughtful, educated, and experienced man for the job that we could have imagined. My wife even cried when we had to say goodbye at the end of our trip! Thank you John for everything you do and we wish you the best in life moving forward!
The safari camps, hotels, resorts will have to be last on our list to review. All were amazing in the their own way! From the staff, design, and food, and general feeling of Kenyan luxury we felt when entering was all more than we anticipated!
We would recommend Right Choice to anyone and will hopefully be able to go back soon!

I was able to organize my trip down to the smallest detail, which allowed me to relax once there. Amazing experience, and a team that had our backs every step of the way
This was a trip of a lifetime, wow. Myself and my parents joined Right Choice Safaris for 15 days through Kenya and Tanzania, and the experience was beyond words… amazing amazing amazing. Before the trip, George was fantastic at alleviating all of our concerns, answering every question, and adjusting the itinerary to meet our wants/needs. This was especially impressive given the need to navigate visa AND covid testing requirements for two different countries. Once we arrived in Kenya, they had our backs with every step and made sure we didn’t have to lift a finger to organize anything. Everything was done for us and ran smoothly and beautifully. Our guides, Jacob in Kenya and Simon in Tanzania, were both phenomenal! They blew us away with their kindness, knowledge, flexibility, humor, and expertise. Great value! lots of animals! great pictures! Excellent service by George (manager) and guide (Opany - very experienced). George solved all my doubts throught whatsapp. I couldnt dream of better service. We had some problems with border pasing through Kenya/Tanzania mostly caused by COVID, but it was very well managed by the operator.

Right Choice made sure we had the perfect experience in Kenya. George Oketch planned a great adventure. He promptly answered all our question. From the time our guide, Jacob, picked up us at the airport, until we were dropped off for our return flight home, everything flowed seamlessly. Our guide, Jacob, made sure we had a tremendous time. His knowledge of the wildlife and parks is unparralled. He went out of his way to make sure we got the most out of every game drive. We saw the Big 5. We visited Maasai Mara, Lake Nukuru, Amboseli, Tsavo West, and Tsavo East in 9 days. We finished our trip with 3 days on the Indian Ocean in Diani Beach. We would not change anything.

An AMAZING and UNFORGETTABLE ADVENTURE
Words can’t adequately describe our Amazing Anniversary Safari. “Right Choice” is the right words for this value company as they surpassed our dreams for coming to Kenya for three various Safari locations. Not only did George Oketch assist with our trip planning but mention several additional ways to enhance our experience; like a hot air balloon ride. Ken Ojiema was our incredible driver and guide as he was quick to fulfill the list of the vast variety of wild animals who hoped to see. He not only accomplished this; and many more that we didn’t even think of, but we felt like we could literally reach out the window and touch them. The photo shots were spectacular as he placed us in perfect alliance of which I saw no other company do. His knowledge and expertise of the animals and their habitats truly brought to life this wild and colorful adventure. We had a great tour, we were concerned coming with the pandemic but it was great. Mahmud was an awesome guide, he found the big 5 and was great at finding and pointing out animals, stopping whenever we wanted and making sure we saw everything we came to see. He was friendly, professional and truly the nicest guy. The hotels were great and the whole tour was put together very well, it was very easy for us and we had a great time. We absolutely recommend this company for your Safari.

I recommend that everyone trust George to organize your safari. He has always listened to our expectations and has done his best to satisfy us. Our safari was amazing, we saw many animals and the lodges were fabulous. A special mention to John, our great guide, with whom we had a super time and who did everything to make us happy.

Amazing Trip
We booked the Kenya to Tanzania tour and added the Zanzibar Beach experience. Overall the trip was amazing and we saw many, many animals. The weather was great and all the hotels were excellent (especially Ashnil in Mara). Both drivers, Jacob in Kenya and Simone in Tanzania were also so experienced and personable. It felt like the other safari drivers in both countries looked to them on the radio for info and animal sightings.
I communicated with George in the office over a year before our trip and he was always very responsive to my questions and thorough. With the COVID-19 pandemic happening during our booking we were never quite sure if we were going to be able to go. However it worked out that my husband and I were fully vaccinated before we left and our driver in Kenya had his first shot as well. We had to get several COVID tests, one before we left the US to enter Kenya, one in Kenya to enter Tanzania, another rapid-test at the border in Tanzania, and then one in Zanzibar to return to the US. Our drivers helped make the arrangements for these.
So I would highly recommend this trip with Right Choice. We had our own Land Cruiser in both Kenya and in Tanzania that were both new vehicles. Jacob and Simone both made sure we saw all the big 5 animals and even the hard to spot Rinos! They both taught us much about the animals as well. All in all we saw some 50 lions! Some of the prides were quite large, one even had 2 males and many cubs! It satisfied our need for lions after at first only seeing on in the distance in Amboseli! We were a little early for the great migration, but the wildebeest were getting ready for it. There were thousands of them at time as far as you can see, along with the zebras! The positive is that since we were a bit early, there weren't many other tourists.
The only problem we had was at the Tanzania border which we had not purchased a Tanzania Visa a head of time. We were under the impression the Kenyan Visa would be good for all of East Africa. So we had to purchase that there and it took a bit more time and made the day to Serengeti very long! Just make sure you purchase both online before you go.
The last few days at Blue Bay Beach resort were a nice way to relax and unwind after going everyday, so I'm glad we did that. The resort grounds were beautiful, so was the beach, and the staff were great. The food was fine, always plenty. I added a day to our trip to visit Stonetown to get a little of the local culture which was nice. We stayed at the Hilton Doubleday where was very nice. Unfortunately since there haven't been many tourists, the locals all try to sell you something. So we did our part for the local economy as best we could.
The local people are all so friendly and seemed to really appreciate us being there after a year of not having many tourists. "Asante-sana", Thank your VERY much! Thanks again Right Choice for all your help and in making this an unforgettable experience. Perhaps we'll do a South Africa trip in the future.
