Engaging , professional
Had an amazing time on the safari! We started by seeing elephants up close – it was incredible and so much fun. Then we went camel riding, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
The tour operator was really engaging and made sure we were having a great time throughout. Everything in Maun was fun and interesting, and I’m already wishing I could come back.
Highly recommend it if you want a memorable safari experience!

An Exceptionally Organized and Memorable Safari Experience
My first visit as an adult to Maun exceeded all expectations, largely due to the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by the entire Bavarian Safaris team. From arrival to departure, every detail was thoughtfully managed, making this a truly seamless and enriching experience.
Day 1 : Arrival & Grays Eden: Transfer arrangements were prompt and efficient. The team coordinated a birthday lunch at Grays Eden, a superb riverside venue offering stunning sunset views, excellent cuisine, and attentive service — a wonderful introduction to Maun.
Day 2 : Local Exploration: The team curated a tailored itinerary of local establishments, including spas and boutique businesses, all of which reflected a strong knowledge of and pride in the local area.
Day 3 : Elephant Haven: Guided by the highly knowledgeable Edwin, our visit to Elephant Haven was both educational and deeply moving. The routes taken offered remarkable scenic views, and the opportunity to interact with and feed the elephants was an experience of the highest calibre.
Day 4 : Okavango Camel Rides: A distinctive and memorable excursion, expertly led by guide Bokang, who demonstrated excellent punctuality, thorough destination knowledge, and a warm, professional demeanour throughout.
Day 5 : Farewell Evening: The team arranged a private bonfire at our accommodation, complete with seating and firewood, a thoughtful and fitting conclusion to an outstanding week.
Overall, Bavarian Safaris consistently went above and beyond to ensure a full, authentic Maun experience. Their attention to detail, personalized service, and genuine passion for the region set them apart and a reflection of where “wild fun awaits”. We would not hesitate to recommend them to any discerning traveller seeking a premium safari experience in Botswana.
