Well known for their excellent services, well planned itineraries and cheap budget safaris
5/5

Pega tours provided us with experienced tour guides who speak fluent English since i was accompanied by foreign visitors.Good and modern tour vehicles were provided, all open roof.
Office staff well groomed and very friendly, ready to offer any assistance to their visitors.
We toured the rift valley and it was the best experience with Pega Tours and Travel Agencies.
I would recommend them to any other visitors.

MY BEST CHRISTMASS TRIP
5/5

Although we ddnt have much time with my family in Kenya, i was lucky to come across Pega Tours & Travel in Nakuru a big town in the Rift Valley, Peter the director gave me a well itenerary for 4days package during the christmass from 22nd to 26th, we had not booked any hotels yet when we arrived to nakuru and he offered us a place to stay with his family which was one of best experience with a kenyan family, we started with lake nakuru day trip which was up to the expectation as promised in the office, then we went to the masai mara for 3 nights as it was well organised and we were able to see all the BIG FIVE animals thanks to Denis,an experienced guide who took us and showed us around as he kept the safari lively and interesting. Thank you so much Pega Tours& Travel for giving me and my family the best Christmass ever. Hakuna Matata!

Pega Tours company promised and delivered the best services beyond our expectation. Great experience
5/5

We booked our safari with Pega tours on 14/12/2019 for a three days safari to Amboseli National Park for a group of six people. We simply walked into their office and met a wonderful team who were very friendly, they gave us a good rate as advertised on their web site. The next day the driver picked us on time and the journey to a great adventure began, our driver John was equally friendly and well informed about the geographical area of the park, the different types of animals and he was quick to spot them. Generally we had a wonderful stay and we all enjoyed the trip and the camp site, we will definitely come to Kenya again and do more safari with the Pega tours, we highly recommend the company.

Dishonest cheats!
1/5

Try to avoid this safari company at all costs! Reasons below:

1. We were quoted 120 USD for 2 people for a private safari. After reaching, we were put together with 3 more people, who paid 45 USD each, but the price was not reduced for us. Later, after finding out, when we asked for a refund, it was denied by the company.

2. The safari promised was for 12 hours. The guide cum driver (the owner's son) stopped abruptly at 12:30 for a 3 hour break. They probably have a connection with this hotel, and though we all carried our own food, we had to stay in the hotel for this time.

3. The homestay was in the owner's house. The flush does not work properly, the bathroom does not drain, so you are in a pool of dirty water.

4. The owner's wife would knock and enter the room without waiting for a reply.

5. We were forced to leave at the same time as the owner and his sons left for office, since they wanted to economize on one round to drop us at the bus station.

6. After all of this, and cheating us of 30 USD, the owner was trying hard to sell their Masaai Mara package to us, though we kept telling things were already arranged.

Our trip was amazing, except for this single experience.

Tour to Lake Nakuru Park and Masai Mara
1/5

I booked two tours with Pega. The first one was to the Lake Nakuru National Park wich was a good experience due to the very nice guide John. The other one was to the Masai Mara. For that one Peter the Boss of Pega Tours gave me wrong information on the accommodation (stayed in a different camp than he said) and lied to me about the "Great Migration". I asked several times if it had really started early this year and he insisted it had. Before going to the Mara I heard from other sources that this was not the case. After arriving there the driver and guide confirmed that the Migration would probably start a month later. Very dishonest.
The home stay Pega offers in Nakuru is basic but offers tasty food and there are usually other interesting guests around.
The Safari Vehicle is fit for the good roads inside the Lake Nakuru Park but very unsafe for long distance travel.

5/5

Before I came to Nakuru I had not booked anything and only knew in my mind what I wanted to see. I went to Pega Tours and they arranged all my requests for me and gave me a really good price! I stayed at Peters( The boss) House which was really a Nice place with great traditionel Kenyan dinner! Can only recommend Pega Tours for their fantastic services and smoothness to make it all happen so easily!

Failed to Deliver what was Promised
1/5

I highly recommend not using Pega Tours. They take no pride in making your experience memorable. The driver was 3 hours late picking me up and then proceeded to rush me through the whole experience. (Even after the trip I waited an hour and a half to get picked up for Nakuru) After speaking with management about my problems, they proceeded to tell me I should have received 15 hours inside the park, but I was only in there for less than 10 hours. The boss refused to apologize and offered no compensation because the other customer "had no problems". He then lied to me that he wasn't the boss and the boss was "on holiday" even though he was right there in the room. Pega could care less about customer satisfaction; therefore I do not recommend!

unforgetable 5days Masai Mara and Amboseli national park
5/5

The journey started where we were picked up in Nairobi very early in the morning at no extra cost. The guide ensured that we had an evening game drive in Masai Mara and we spotted lots of lions, elephants and even baby lions. The next day we were given an all nutrient rich packed lunch as we spent the whole day in the park, visited the Masai village and there was lots of entertainment including bonfire in the evening.
Amboseli national park was the place where we spotted the biggest elephants ever.
Thank you to Pega Tours and Travel Agency for this unforgettable experience.
