Great Family Run Business
This was our first safari with these guys. It was our long planned honeymoon and we told them in advance. They couldn't possibly put more effort into making our honeymoon a great experience. This family have been in tourism industry for over 20 years and they know their way around Kenya, they are biz partners with well known establishments all over the country. I strongly recommend them, they are extremely professional and customer always comes first for them. Will def choose them again if going to East Africa.

the services in the lodges was great.

Knowledgeable guide - Hosking Agoi
Being a local I never Imagined that a driver guide could have so much knowledge about Kenya,her people,her animals and her flora. Moreso,that this information flows out like a presentation chart with so much ease.
Having Hosking as a guid has made me Love my country even more.Kenyan driver guides are amazing.

Our Safari and tour was everything and more than we could have possibly dreamed of.
This safari was absolutely perfect! Agoi Hosking, the tour director and Victoria had a flawless plan in place with wonderful lodging at the Fairview Hotel, Oltukai Lodge, Aberdares Country Club, Sweetwaters, Maili Saba camp and Mara Serena Lodge. We visited too many place to mention! Amboseli National Park offered so many opportunities to view the elephants, giraffes and baboons! Agoi and Bryson made sure we always got the perfect shots with Mount Killimanjaro as a backdrop. At Sweetwater we managed to witness a lion dig and kill a warthog only to be followed by a visit to the wild dogs! Can you imagine being at the right place at the right time! This was possible because of Agoi's guidance and expertise.
With every day there was a sense of excitement that was never disappointed. At Masai Mara Game Reserve we witnessed two wildebeest crossing. That is totally unbelievable! Yes, again Agoi had you at the right place at the right time. We saw prides of lions, servals, giraffes, zebra, buffalo, impalas and much more.
This was all beyond my wildest dreams and the photos we have are just spectacular!

Experience of a lifetime
All aspects of our trip to Kenya were outstanding. We were well informed with lots of important information from what to expect to what to bring. Our accommodations were at a very high level and our tour guides were excellent. I can't recommend them highly enough.
A Dream Come True
My husband and I often talked of taking a trip to Africa. We both love animals, and really wanted to see them in their own environment, doing whatever they would normally do. Before we could make our plans, my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He also had developed severe back issues. I put aside our dream, thinking I would never see Africa. Suddenly, a friend who had been to Africa many times invited me to go with her. I went, and Affable Tours was her experienced choice for guiding our tour. The trip surpassed my expectations. The accommodations were wonderful. The food was great. The wildlife was incredible. Our guides were a wealth of information, and seemed to know exactly where to take us so we saw things I never imagined I would see. I always felt safe, and also very lucky to have had the experience of traveling with Affable Tours and Safaris. I would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation.

Organization of a 1 week trip to Nakuru and Masai Mara reserves park, then Mombasa
Good organization ( not one mistake :):):)
Good reactivity from management when asked to change a plan at the last minute
Drivers/guide all speak french, and VERY IMPORTANT, are SAFE road drivers (which to me the most important point)
Choice of hotels (level of confort) must be well discussed before

Expert knowledge and outstanding attention to safety and comfort.
From the time we were picked up at Nairobi's airport to the end of our journey, we were well taken care of. We had customized our itinerary and found all arrangements to be more than satisfactory. Mr. Agoi was indeed affable and willing to share his wealth of knowledge. The nine days we spent in the Mara and Amboseli certainly exceeded my personal expectations. The "cheery on top" came in the form of the Sheldrick Elephants Orphanage in Nairobi- not to be missed.

Can't say enough positive things
There is just too much good information to share in a review on a web site. Our Affable Tour friends were AWESOME!! They took excellent care of us, getting to and from our destinations safely. They marshalled a herd of 11 distinct individuals with total finese. They arranged for us to stay at fantastic camps and lodges that would make 5-star hotels here in the States jealous. And thanks to their scouting efforts, we saw all of the Big 5 and many, many more. I could not ask for a more knowledgeable and kind person to share his country with to his clients
I was first introduced to Affable Tours and Hosking Agoi in August of 2022, thru a family friend and returned again in August of 2023. I enjoyed both experiences, same friend, different travelers.
This year I returned again in October and this time, with my own small group of 2 and was again very happy to have Agoi as our guide. I can't say enough about the experience with Agoi and Affable Tours. He made sure we were comfortable, informed and having a good time. His knowledge of his country, its history, the animals and birds, the geography and all things Kenya is superb. His kindness stands out, making the trip an amazing experience. When I say kindness, this includes kindness towards his clients as well as all the other people he deals with on our travels. He was great to work with to complete an itinerary I was happy with.
I wanted to add Tanzania (game drives) and Zanzibar to my trip and Agoi was able to make that happen. Everything was set up according to our plan. My group flew to Zanzibar for 3 days then back to Nairobi and more game drives in Samburu, Kenya. We enjoyed Tanzania, (had a Tanzanian driver and Agoi) but I don't think I'll return to Zanzibar (it wasn't my cup of tea).
Agoi's many contacts and skills as a businessman helped make this trip, not only amazing but eye-opening as well. The plight of the Kenyan people is nothing short of sad. It brings tears to my eyes. I'm amazed by their resilience and tenacity to keep positive and determined to survive despite their living conditions and I'm sure some feelings of helplessness.
I will be planning another trip(s), hopefully bringing along others to share in this experience, I will not hesitate to connect with Agoi and Affable Tours for my future trips.
