A great local experience.
The guide was knowledge and always offered to stop when needed. The food was beyond amazing. The only thing I would recommend it make sure the power outlets in the vehicle work before leaving. Ours didn’t along with the fridge. Everything else was great.

Good communication and an experienced and thoughtful guide/driver
We did a standard safari in Northern Tanzania (standard, with one additional day which is not as common - Lake Eyasi to visit local tribes). It was our first and we were with our two twin boys of 7 years. So we were slightly worried about number of unknowns. Even when planning, through an agent, we could state our preferences and there was a positive response whenever available. Once we got in touch with Murtaza (the boss) just ahead of our travel, all went well. Communication was great and cheerful, responses clear and thorough. When we got to Tanzania, it only improved. Geoffrey, our guide and a driver, is an experienced, kind, understanding, etc. And he has an interesting quality of being able to sense what his group wants, often even without saying it out loud. For example, we took a less beaten road, without crowds, but with a risk of not seeing the big hits. We preferred that, going sometimes alone in the wilderness, and we got some very positive surprises - there is a huge difference between spotting bunch of cars, getting there, and seeing an animal surrounded; and driving by couple of rocks alone, spotting something move ont he rocks and discovering it is a lion cub watching you with interest. Geoffrey's approach to our kids was excellent - he was patient, attentive and allowed the boys to get excited about all that was to see.

Unforgettable experience!
We did a family trip to Mount Meru and also an 8-day safari with Bobby Camping, and we had an amazing time! Everything was perfectly organized and we were able to enjoy our holidays in the best way possible.
Our Mount Meru trip, led by Innocent, was truly memorable. Our crew was very caring. They helped us when needed, prepared everything, checked our health status, and even carried our backpacks when we were tired. A huge thanks to the whole team for this amazing experience!
The safari was also great. Thanks to our driver Amani, we were able to see plenty of animals, some of them really up close. He is the best driver, and he has deep knowledge about the parks and animals. The food throughout the whole trip was also delicious.
Overall, we highly recommend Bobby Camping to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Tanzania.
P.S. Thank you for fulfilling our request and including the park walk in our itinerary. We will never forget the trek with the ranger and the views of Ngorongoro, as well as the walks with Benson around Mto wa Mbu.
Very professional
Renting à car to organize my own safaris is impossible in Tanzani unlike Southern African countries.
I finally entered Budget car office in Dar es Salaam and met Ali and his wife who organized a car and a driver to Arusha via Tanga to visit a friend and introduced me to Murtaza from Bobby Camping safaris.
MURTAZA organized my five days safaris including accomodations to Parks like Arusha, Serengetti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire .
Not only were we initially received very nicely by his entire business office staff but daily telephone follow ups ensured everything went along as planned throughout our trip.
I relied on a very experienced seventy year old driver who knew perfectly his way around and where to find animals.
Either in hôtels or luxury tents accomodations, everything was perfect including food.
We even slept in a tent with Roaring lions in the vicinity.
We saw many unforgettable animal scenes and are very greatful for all advice and attention given to us.
I thank Ali and Murtaza for being devoted to what they do best ie Organize Safaris in details i a very friendly and professional way.
Do not hesitate working with two great individuals you can trust

Friendly and reliable
We went om a 7days safari combining driving to the Ngorogoro crater and walking several days through the bush to Lake Natron . We had a lovely but demanding week. The crater gave us lots of meetings with impressive animals and the walking gave us insight in nature and the lokal population. We saw plenty of different bird species on our walk. You need to be used to trekking and sleeping in tents but nights together with our guides and the Masai guards were magical. Our cook, Kitoi, made us wonderful meals. Part of the trip we had Company with the Ranger Allen. He was worth his weight in gold with his perfect english, great knowledge about wildlife and good spirits.

Unforgettable 6-Day Safari with Bobby Safari!
We had an amazing 6-day safari experience with Bobby Safari. Our guide, Godfrey, was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced — he always knew the best spots to find the animals, which gave us unforgettable memories and truly beautiful photos. His expertise made every game drive exciting and meaningful.
Our cook, Miraji, was also fantastic — kind, helpful, and dedicated. He woke up early every day to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, even under challenging conditions like campsites without electricity or proper kitchen facilities. The food was always delicious, and we truly appreciated his hard work.
Bobby himself was kind, welcoming, and very supportive throughout the trip. When our flight to Arusha was canceled last minute and we had to fly to Kilimanjaro instead, he kindly arranged a return transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport — even though this wasn’t part of the original agreement. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us and really shows how much he cares about his guests.
We also want to highlight that Bobby gave us a great price — much more affordable than many other safari companies we checked — without compromising on quality. The service, guiding, and organization were all top-notch, and we felt we got excellent value for money.
👉 Important tip: Before your trip, make sure to go through the itinerary and package details with Bobby carefully. Confirm what’s included — especially in terms of accommodation (camp, lodge, hotel) and drinks (water, soft drinks, alcohol) — so expectations are clear from the beginning.
We highly recommend Bobby Safari to anyone looking for a memorable, well-organized, and personalized safari experience!
📝 Note on tipping: In our original offer, it was stated that tipping should be a minimum of $10 per person per day. However, we later learned that the common norm is closer to $15–20 per person per day. It's helpful to clarify this in advance so you can plan accordingly and show appreciation for the hardworking staff.
👉 For travelers from Norway: If you’re looking for a high-quality safari at a fair and reasonable price, we truly recommend Bobby Safari. You’ll be in good hands from start to finish!

Reliable travel agency that take care of every step of the joyrney
We had a fantastic trip in Tanzania We were very happy with Bobby Camping!
️It fitted in well with our travel needs. We are well-travelled and independent, but Murtaza was able to offer a very interesting and tailor-made schedule within our time frame, which exactly matched our personal wishes.
We managed to visit Moshi and Arusha at the foot of Kilimanjaro, Materuni waterfall, surrounded by a moist jungle and coffee plantation, the warm springs of Kikuletwa. The highlights were the safari in the national parks (Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro, Ndutu and Serengeti). We were lucky to see the Big 5 of Africa game animals: lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo. It also was amazing to face thousands of animals during the Migration in their calving season. Thanks for our guide and driver Godrey.
Also, in deep memory remais the guest in various tribes as Maasai, Hadzabe (Bushmen), Blacksmiths, as well the shores of Lake Victoria and the taste of Tilapia
I am very thankful to Murtaza who was on the top of the things and organized our tour perfectly well. Communications through WhatsUp were helpful and we felt the carry on us through all tour time.
So - I invite You as well to travel around the mainland green and unforgettable Tanzania with Bobby Camping!️

The best professional and responsible tour operator in Tanzania
The moment we arrived in Tanzania, Amani our guide and driver was waiting for us. He was amazing: responsible and professional. We felt very safe with him as we were together in our jeep for nearly one week.
The whole Safari was a big success, the hotels, the jeep, our other requests and the main thing: to see the big 10! Amani with his experience could find and show us very special animals.
I definitely recommend Bobby for your Safari in Tanzania, I myself hope to return there soon as well!

Safari experience of a lifetime
Our group of 7 people had an unforgettable trip to the Tanzanian parks of Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Bobby camping safaris.
From the first pick-up from Kilimanjaro airport we were in the reliable hands of our guide Amani. He took us through the crazy traffic of the city and the challenging terrain in the parks very safely and expertly. Thanks to his constant care and effort we saw everything we could remember and much more. Elephant herds and lions passing in close proximity to our car, or taking gentle care of its babies and partners, elegant giraffes, hippos, zebras and wildebeest in a herd - all beautifully calm and up close. Thanks to his experience we had the opportunity to see a cheetah and a leopard, which not everyone is lucky enough to do, and we also had the opportunity to observe rhinos. Amani very modestly and kindly fulfills all the wishes of his clients before they even have time to say them and is a very experienced guide who knows a lot about the parks and life in them.
On the Serengeti plains and on the edge of the Ngorngoro crater, we stayed in beautiful and comfortable tents, where we felt completely surrounded by nature and were safely guarded by Maasai warriors. When you add delicious food made from local ingredients to this, you get an experience of a lifetime.
As someone who has repeatedly traveled through Tanzania and other East African countries on my own, or with other local guides, I know that the smooth running of such events is not at all self-evident and I would like to thank you very much for the care you took with our expedition.
