Safari isiyosahaulika na timu kubwa
If someone wants to go on a safari - what does he have to do?
Either a package safari or a self-organized safari. We agreed on the 2nd variant and worked out our route for 18 days ourselves for a year. But who should realize this? We found Bobby Camping Safari - a Tanzanian company that was able to implement our plans - and they were particularly good! The Amiri team (driver and guide) who was at our side guided us safely over the NP slopes and, with their unbelievable view, discovered animals that we would never have seen - even in our immediate vicinity we could almost touch them. Every day the famous Big Five. The team also included Jassin, our cook, who was an artist in his field and conjured up 3 meals every day and did not repeat himself in the 18 days, despite the simplest means and possibilities. Highest appreciation from us. The safari took us from Tarangire via Manyara to the Hadzabe (bushman) tribes at Eyasi Lake, further to the Ngorongoro Crater and then into the southern Serengeti (Ndutu area) where we could observe the aggregation of thousands of animals that then formed the great migration gathered on the way north - overwhelmingly - further into the central and northern Serengeti to Lake Natron. Here the Ol Donyo Lengai was climbed and back to Arusha. But our safari then went over the Mkomazi N.P. further, where we visited the breeding station for the rhinos and wild dogs, which are protected from extinction here and released back into the wild. The end were then the Usambara Mountains with its many hiking opportunities. The Indian Ocean was reached and also the end of our safari. Here Amiri and Jassin said goodbye after 18 incredible days with many unforgettable impressions and lots and lots of humor and fun.
Bobby Camping Safari realized everything according to our wishes and implemented it perfectly and made it possible for us to have an unforgettable trip to the highest degree. We thank the boss Murtaza for his patience with us until this trip became possible - the price was also right but especially our funny team Amiri (Pumbaa - no, no pig) and Jassin with his delicious kitchen.

Great trip
We chose a private budget customized safari. We visited some np (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti), Ngorongoro, Lake Natron and climbed to Ol Doinyo. We also had some walking tours. They can organize everything.
Owner Murtaza was a very patient man. For safari i paid just before leaving my country. The trip was great. Guide was smart and great driver, car was always clean. Guide always stopped and waited as much as we asked. I took a lot of great photos. The cook was also good, dinner was really great. Timing was perfect. We slept well in tents.

Unforgettable experience!
Our privat Safari tour for 3 days was settled in advance, Our guide picked us up at the airport one day ahead, drove us to our hotel, then the first day of our Safari tour, we had early morning pick up at the hotel, we drove to Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro NP and the Crater. Our guide (Amiri, also called Baboo) was amazing, very talkative and good storyteller. We had very nice lodgings in the middle of the national parks, dinner and breakfasts were very tasty, also packed lunch was good, we did not feel hungry and we did not have any stomach problems (we were afraid of it in Africa), also, everywhere we had enough drinking water. We saw many animals (lions, leopard, rhino, hippos, elephants, zebras, giraffe etc.), Babbo stopped the car whenever we wanted to take a picture. The car was very comfy and it was possible to lift up the roof and observe the animals.
Overall, we would like to thank Bobby camping for this memorable moments!

Amazing!
We think that all was excellent. At first, we thought that we will have a problem with the change between Dollars and Tanzanian Shilling, because we only had tzs and they gave us the price in usd. When we arrive they had another price of change, but we can made a agreement and all was perfect. The guide was too kindly, he respect the times and was always friendly. We really enjoy this days with them!

What a life experience!
We did a 5 day safari and 6 day killi climb both with Bobby Camping Safaris. All details of both trip were precise and perfect. So many factors went in to both aspects of the trip and it was all seamless. Murtaza was excellent in his communications before and after our adventures. Jolie’s and Elias were perfect safari guides. Jolis was patient, happy, and easy going with our silly group. Elias were hard on perfect meals. On our climb aspect the team that was put together for our successful climb was amazing. 15 people helped support the 6 of us. Our guide, Mohammad, lead his team and provided us with a sense of security and success. Our assistant guides, Inno and Winna, provided a perfect pace and we all had a blast again with the sillyness of our group. The porter team was phenomenal. These guys carried our world all the way up the mountain, with each of them with a HUGE smile on their face. We appreciate all that Bobby Camping Safarisdid to make our experience in Tanzania amazing. HIGHLY recommend this company!

Second time using Bobbycamping
We went with Bobbycamping back in 2007 and again in Oct of 2020. They did not disappoint. Once again our safari and Kili climb went perfect. Their guides are supper friendly and knowledgeable. And as in 2007 everything went without a hitch. From picking us up at the airport to dropping us off we were in good hands. Best experience of our life
We searched the internet for camping safaris and found Bobby Camping Safaris. We couldn't find a cheaper provider in terms of price, so we discussed everything by email and decided on the 8-day safari. We had to pay a 30% deposit. You have to pay the rest in cash on arrival. Since we didn't want to take so much cash with us, we transferred the full amount in advance via Transferwise. After landing at the airport, our driver Jolis picked us up. He greeted us very friendly, loaded our bags into the car and then drove us to the hotel. He was in a very good mood from the start and helped us with all our questions and problems. You can't imagine a better driver. The next morning we started with the first game drive and the first night in camp. Our expectations were exceeded after the first day. We saw so many animals and then we were surprised with very delicious and extensive food from our cook Elias. There was even a 3 course menu for dinner. We asked for vegetarian food and the cook implemented it really well. His dishes were delicious and creative. After the second day we decided to extend the safari for another day because we loved it. To do this, we spoke to the boss Murtaza briefly and he took care of everything for us. Jolis recommended us to stay one more day in the Serengeti National Park. He was absolutely right in his recommendation: on this extra day we saw many lions, a leopard and cheetahs. In general, Jolis is very knowledgeable about animals and also about African culture. You can ask him anything and he always has an answer ready. He's also very good at driving the car. He always asked if we were doing well and if we were feeling well. He treated us like his brother / sister. He has become like a big brother to us too.

Wonderful experience!
We did a 5 day safari with Bobby Camping and had the best time! From the moment I enquired last December with Murtaza he has been very helpful and accommodating. He arranged the perfect trip for us and it was brilliantly planned. From the moment our guide, Jolis, picked us up from the airport until he dropped us back it was fantastic. Jolis is a brilliant driver and expert guide and we had great fun in his company! Elias was our cook and the food was AMAZING! There was always loads to eat and very tasty.
We went to various campsites and everything was perfectly arranged and ran smoothly. We were keen to come despite the Covid issue, and Murtaza reassured us via WhatsApp prior to our departure from the U.K. that all was well in Tanzania. Luckily for us the parks were quiet due to this pandemic (not so good for locals).
I will highly recommend Bobby Safari to friends and family and would love to come again and wouldn’t hesitate to travel with Bobby Safari again! Thank you Murtaza, Jolis and Elias!!
