Tarangire National Park was a great place to visit. We saw a variety of animals including several giraffe, zebras, buffalo, elephants and more. The highlight was seeing a leopard in a tree.

This was our first stop and we loved it, second favorite after Serengeti but our guide's favorite.

First park we went to and it was totally amazing! So many animals, and we got quite close to many.

It was a small park with so many vehicles, it felt like being in a safari zoo, rather than a park.

This park was not as lush as Arusha NP but the wildlife was easier to spot as a result. So glad that we went to this park.

harder to see animals as they were often hidden in the shrubs.

The Tarangire was the first national parks we've been to, and we feel it was quite simplistic, the elephants are the monopoly animals.
