The Mababe Depression, a vast ancient floodplain and seasonal marsh fed by the Khwai River, and Khwai Concession (northern Okavango Delta edge) form a seamless, wildlife-rich corridor in northern Botswana. Mababe offers expansive grasslands with mega-herds, especially buffalo and zebra in green season, while Khwai offers riverine predator action like leopards in trees, lions, wild dogs, Khwai also allows night drives for nocturnal species, bush walks and mokoro dugout canoe experience.
