This itinerary follows the Great Migration into the northern Serengeti, where the Mara River crossings draw the wildebeest herds at their most concentrated. The route opens with a cultural visit to Mto wa Mbu and a full day in the Ngorongoro Crater before moving into Serengeti – first through the Seronera area, then north to Kogatende, where the river is within reach. Accommodation throughout is in tented camps – simple, well-equipped, and close enough to the bush to hear it at night.
