1. Our Services

Origin Abyssinia provides professionally organized private tours, group tours, and expeditions throughout Ethiopia. By making an inquiry, confirming a booking, or participating in a tour with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

To confirm a tour reservation, a 10-20% deposit is required.
The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Ethiopia before the start of the tour, unless another payment agreement has been confirmed in writing.

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed.

3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees are applied based on the date we receive your written cancellation request:

15 days or more before departure: Full refund of the deposit.
8–14 days before departure: 50% of the deposit is refundable.
Less than 7 days before departure: Deposit is non-refundable.

If Origin Abyssinia cancels a confirmed tour due to circumstances within our control, we will provide a full refund of payments received.

4. Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers are responsible for:

-Obtaining a valid passport and Ethiopian visa before arrival.
-Informing Origin Abyssinia of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary -requirements before the tour begins.
-Following reasonable instructions from guides and staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

5. Our Responsibilities

Origin Abyssinia will provide the services described in the confirmed itinerary.

We carefully select experienced guides, reliable transportation, and suitable accommodations to provide a comfortable and memorable experience.

We reserve the right to modify itineraries when necessary due to safety concerns, weather conditions, government regulations, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. Any changes will be made with the goal of maintaining the quality and safety of the tour.

6. Health and Safety

Your safety and comfort are our highest priorities.

Some Ethiopian destinations, including remote areas such as the Danakil Depression, mountain regions, and cultural areas, may involve challenging conditions. Before departure, we provide travelers with relevant safety information and preparation requirements.

Travelers must follow safety instructions provided by their guide throughout the journey.

7. Photography and Cultural Respect

Ethiopia has diverse cultures and traditions. Travelers should always ask permission before photographing local people, especially in traditional communities.

Our guides will help you understand and respect local customs to ensure positive interactions with communities.
