The Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary started when the Rhino Fund led the efforts to relocate six southern white rhinos from South Africa to Uganda. Since then, the rhinos have been protected and increased in numbers. This safari starts and ends in Kampala, but we can also arrange an excursion to the sanctuary while you have a stopover in Uganda or when you are on your way to or from Murchison Falls National Park.
