
Tarangire National Park is located south west of Arusha city. It's renowned for its large herds of elephants, majestic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. It's part of the larger ecosystem that includes Lake Manyara and the Maasai Steppe. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which serves as the main source of water for wildlife during the dry season. You will see diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and over 500 species of birds.
