Because of the drought, wildlife is a little bit less than Kruger, but the bush vibe is great because of the small unpaved roads. It felt very private as there were only a few operators in that area. It is a very nice addition to the day in Kruger as you're allowed in all day and night.

Great accommodation and great guide at Masodini. Bert is probably the best guide in South Africa.

In the dry season, the bush is not the most scenic environment.

I don't remember the names of the parks. Kruger was the worst. Partly was not your fault; there was a strike on. But we spent most of the day (only one in Kruger) entering a less desireable gate then racing to get back to the one we were supposed to enter. So most of the day was at top speed, not comfortable and rushed. Hardly saw any animals. The guide was grouchy.

I didn't see so many wildlife as in Kruger and Addo, maybe is just not so lucky in the time, because same reports a few weeks later were very nice.

We were able to see all the Big 5 and many more besides. Close for a day trip to Kruger. Handy to a small town and other places to visit. Comfortable accommodation

Along with the larger animals like lion, elephant and rhino, our guide had an intimate knowledge of the bush. He was able to share tons of information about the trees, birds, rocks etc. which was a perfect compliment to seeing the larger animals in their habitat.
