Nairobi – Scenic Train Ride to Mombasa

Your adventure begins with a morning transfer to Nairobi Terminus to board the Madaraka Express Train bound for Mombasa. Enjoy the stunning scenery as the train glides through Tsavo’s expansive savannahs, home to elephants, giraffes, and zebras.

Upon arrival in Mombasa, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your beachfront hotel, Mombasa Beach Hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing by the ocean or exploring the coastal city’s vibrant Swahili culture.

Your dinner and an overnight stay will be at the beach hotel.

Later, stroll along the beach or enjoy optional water sports such as snorkeling, jet skiing, or a glass-bottom boat ride in Mombasa Marine Park( All are optional at an extra cost).

As evening falls, relax at your hotel, enjoying ocean views and a Swahili-inspired dinner.

After breakfast, depart for Shimba Hills National Reserve (approximately 2-hour scenic drive). Arrive at your eco-lodge nestled within the forest canopy — a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery.

After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive to encounter elephants, giraffes, leopards, and the rare sable antelope, found only here in Kenya. End your day watching the sun dip behind the rolling hills.
