Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning and meet with the other tourists and your driver-guide at our office. This safari starts in Nairobi with a drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall, then onward to Narok town for shopping and/or currency exchange. Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch, check in, and relax. Enjoy an exciting late-afternoon introductory game drive across the Mara until sunset. Return to the camp with awesome first-day safari memories. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Enjoy breakfast at the camp, make sure your camera is charged, then grab a packed picnic lunch for a full-day Masai Mara safari experience. Enjoy an exciting eight-hour game search across the Masai Mara, characterized by countless up-close encounters with wild animals. Visit the Mara River, where wildebeest and zebras cross between July and October, and see the hippo pools and crocodiles. After a picnic lunch, continue the game drive until 5:00 pm. Exit Kenya’s best game reserve and drive back to the camp. An optional activity such as a nature walk may follow, then dinner, bonfire, and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

Early in the morning, you will visit with the Maasai people and enjoy an exclusive cultural engagement experience. Learn about their way of life and how they interact with each other and neighboring communities. In the Maasai village, you can enjoy traditional dances, see their homes, and gain a deeper understanding of their daily activities.

Later, drive to Nakuru town and arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon. Spend the evening at your leisure, with the option to relax or explore Nakuru’s streets. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, complete registration and begin your safari experience with a visit to the lake for bird watching. Continue to the endangered Rhinoceros Sanctuary to see white and black rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park is also home to many other wild animals, including lions, zebras, giraffes, impalas, antelopes, waterbucks, buffalos, and leopards. Note that elephants and cheetahs are not present in this park.

At 11:00 am, exit Lake Nakuru National Park and drive to Naivasha, arriving at your hotel in time for lunch. Spend the evening at your leisure, with the option of a boat ride on the lake (cost not included).

Hell's Gate National Park - Nairobi

Hell’s Gate National Park sits on the shores of Lake Naivasha and offers a unique opportunity to walk alongside wildlife. The park’s spectacular scenery makes for one of the most thrilling experiences on your safari. You can choose to spend the day cycling or taking a game drive in a safari vehicle. Arrive at the Gorge for an optional guided nature walk with local guides, capturing great photos with wildlife as your backdrop. Afterward, ascend and exit the park, with an optional stop at the lake for a boat ride. Continue the drive to Nairobi, including a stop for lunch, and arrive in the late afternoon.
