6:00 am: Depart from Summit Safari Lodge to Tarangire National Park, enjoying the scenic drive through rolling landscapes.

8:00 am: Begin your game drive in Tarangire, famous for large herds of elephants, majestic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and lions. Birdwatchers may see over 500 species, including lilac-breasted rollers and yellow-collared lovebirds.

12:30 pm: Stop for a relaxing picnic lunch in a scenic spot within the park.

Afternoon: Continue exploring deeper areas of Tarangire, capturing memorable wildlife sightings during the golden hours.

5:30 pm: Return to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight stay in comfort, resting and preparing for the journey to Serengeti the next day.

After breakfast at Marera Valley Lodge, depart in your comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle for the journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours, with plenty of opportunities to admire Tanzania’s rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and open savannah landscapes. Along the way, you may spot wildlife grazing near the road and see glimpses of traditional villages in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before entering the Serengeti for your afternoon game drive. Explore the vast plains and spot iconic wildlife including lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and more. After an exhilarating day, check in at Safari Haven Camp (Dinner & Breakfast, SP) for a relaxing overnight stay.

7:00 am: Breakfast at Safari Haven Camp, then depart for Ngorongoro Crater (~4–5 hours). Enjoy scenic views of rolling highlands and pass Maasai villages, spotting herders and their cattle.

12:30 pm: Stop for lunch outside the park with beautiful crater rim views.

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Africa’s largest volcanic caldera. Enjoy a game drive to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and flamingos. Guests can opt for a guided walking safari in safe areas to explore smaller wildlife, plants, and volcanic landscapes.

5:30 pm: Transfer to Ngorongoro Safari Lodge (Dinner & Breakfast, SP) for an overnight stay.

Along the way, you may visit optional cultural sites such as Maasai villages, craft markets, or local heritage areas. Each stop can last 30–45 minutes, or you may continue directly to Arusha for a more relaxed journey.

12:30 pm – 1:15 pm: Stop for lunch at a scenic location.

Afternoon: Continue to Arusha, allowing extra time for traffic. Arrive at your hotel in the afternoon for check-in and overnight stay, concluding the 5-day Heart of the Wild Tanzania Safari.
