Start your journey with a scenic domestic flight or private road transfer from Entebbe/Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 1-hour flight or 6-hour drive with stops). Upon arrival, check into your luxury lodge nestled in or near the park.
After lunch and some rest, head out for an afternoon game drive through the Kasenyi Plains, known for large herds of Ugandan kob, lions, elephants, buffalo, and a chance to spot leopards in the golden light.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge and Afternoon Boat ride

After an early breakfast, transfer to Kyambura Gorge, often called the “Valley of Apes.” Descend into this lush, forested canyon for a guided chimpanzee tracking experience. Though sightings are not guaranteed, the gorge offers a magical setting and sightings of monkeys, birds, and other forest species.
Return to the lodge for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a private boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lakes George and Edward. The cruise offers spectacular views of hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and hundreds of bird species including African fish eagles and kingfishers.

Morning Game Drive and Departure

Enjoy a sunrise game drive in the Ishasha or Kasenyi sector for one last chance to see predators in action, including the famous tree-climbing lions (optional detour to Ishasha). Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out.
Depending on your travel plan, transfer to Mweya or Kasese Airstrip for your domestic flight back to Entebbe, or continue by road or to your next destination (Bwindi, Kibale, or Lake Mburo).
