Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading to the spectacular Tarangire National Park. Famous for its mighty baobab trees and the largest elephant herds in Northern Tanzania, the park is also home to lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and over 400 bird species. Enjoy a full game drive with a picnic lunch in the park’s wilderness. Later in the afternoon, continue to Karatu, a charming town set in the Ngorongoro Highlands. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Karatu. Accommodation can be upgraded to luxury upon request.

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands with breathtaking views before descending into the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Along the route, wildlife viewing is continuous as you enter the central Serengeti, famous for its high concentration of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. A picnic lunch will be served en route, and you’ll spend the afternoon exploring the golden savannahs and rocky kopjes. Dinner and overnight at your Serengeti lodge or tented camp in Central Serengeti. Accommodation upgrades available on request.

Begin the day with a sunrise game drive in Serengeti, when wildlife is most active. Return for breakfast at camp, then enjoy another short game drive as you make your way out of the park. Continue through the rolling hills and arrive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area by afternoon. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its lush highlands and breathtaking views of the crater below. Settle at your lodge on the crater rim or nearby for dinner and overnight near karatu town. Accommodation can be customized or upgraded as per your preference.

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder shelters more than 30,000 large animals including lions, buffalo, elephants, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. With permanent water sources, the crater offers one of the best chances to spot all members of the Big Five in a single day. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 4-day Tanzania safari.
