Day 1

Morning Activity:
Depart Moshi/Arusha & Head To Materuni Village
Leave early morning and drive to Materuni, a Chagga village at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, your local guide will lead you on a scenic hike through banana and coffee farms toward Materuni Waterfall (approx. 70m high).
You'll swim in the cold, clear mountain water (if you dare!) and enjoy the peaceful forest vibes.

Afternoon Activity:
Coffee Experience & Chagga Culture
After the hike, return to the village for a full coffee experience. You’ll learn how to pick, roast, grind, and brew your own cup of Chagga Arabica coffee all the while being entertained with local songs and traditions.
Enjoy a local hot lunch (vegetarian options available), then relax before returning to Moshi/Arusha for drop off.
