Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park- Game Drive

Our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight to Mtemere Airstrip in Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, you will embark on a full-day game drive, exploring one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.

During the game drive, you will have the chance to encounter a wide variety of wildlife up close, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and many other species that call the reserve home.

Around midday, enjoy a packed lunch and a short rest before continuing your afternoon game drive, taking in the park’s stunning scenery until sunset. In the evening, transfer to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay, preparing for the adventures of the following day.

Boat Trip, Game drive then Fly to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, head to the Rufiji River for a one-and-a-half-hour boat safari, enjoying the chance to see wildlife from the water and spot birds, hippos, and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Afterwards, our professional driver will pick you up for an afternoon game drive in Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve), lasting until around 3:30 PM. You will then be transferred to Mtemere Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
