Your journey begins with a morning road transfer from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park (approx. 5–6 hours).
Along the way, enjoy scenic views of coastal plains, local villages, and the rolling Uluguru Mountains.
Upon arrival, check in at your safari lodge and relax after the drive.
Later in the afternoon, embark on a short city tour of Mikumi Town to experience the local culture, visit artisan markets, and interact with residents.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue game viewing in the afternoon, capturing unforgettable wildlife moments against golden savannah backdrops.

Full Day Game Drive In Mikumi National Park

Another full day to delve deeper into Mikumi’s wilderness.
Today’s game drive covers new zones of the park, increasing your chances of spotting elusive species and soaking in different habitats such as miombo woodlands, acacia bushland, and seasonal rivers.
Don’t miss a visit to the hippo pool, where you can see hippos and crocodiles basking and hear the grunts echo through the wetlands. Picnic lunch to be served within the park before continue with your afternoon game drive.
Later in the evening return to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
