After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive through the scenic highlands toward the Serengeti National Park. Along the way, pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may catch glimpses of wildlife in the distance. Upon entering the Serengeti, enjoy your first game drive across the vast plains, home to migrating herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. In the evening, settle into your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the Serengeti.

Today you will spend the entire day immersed in the wonders of the Serengeti. After an early breakfast at your camp or lodge, set out with a packed picnic for a full-day exploration of the park. The Serengeti is world-renowned for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in vast columns across the savannah in search of water and fresh grazing. Your guide will determine the best areas to visit depending on the season—whether it is the southern plains during calving season, the western corridor during the river crossings.

Spend the day exploring the crater floor, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including elephants, hippos, lions, black rhinos, and a dazzling variety of birdlife. After your game drive and picnic lunch in the crater, you will ascend and return to Arusha, marking the end of your 3-day safari adventure.
