Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Home of Mountain Gorillas

After an early breakfast, we will pick you from your hotel or place of residence at 7:00 am, our guide will brief you about Bwindi Forest Gorilla Trekking and the journey to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park will begin. Stop overs made to see the sights on the way to the park and lunch en-route. You will drive though the see-able parts of the parks and settling in to the lodgings for the evening.

The Ultimate Gorilla Encounter - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

On this day you will set out to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park headquarter, you be briefed on the do’s and don’t s of a gorilla tracking activity. You will then be grouped and head into the deep bush with your tour guide to find the friendly gorillas. The mountain gorillas can be trekked by a maximum of 8 people for 2-7 hours. After finding the friendly giants, you will spend an entire hour with them observing their way of life, how they feed their young, how they find their food so that you can interact but also conclude your trip. Afterwards, head straight to the rock town of Kisoro and spend your lazy evening overlooking the Virunga Mountains.

Golden Monkey Trekking - Mount Mgahinga National Park

Its yet another day for you to explore the Virunga Mountains with an extraodinary Golden Monkey trekking experience in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. This is indeed where gold meets Silver as the park is a home for both Mountain Gorillas and the Golden Monkeys. After finding the golden Monkeys, you will head to the lodge for hot lunch. Later in the day, you have have an amazing time to explore the incredible Lake Mutanda for a motorised canoe ride experience with stunning views of the Virunga Mounatins on a clear day. Retire the day at the lodge.
