Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Home of Mountain Gorillas

After an early breakfast, we will pick you from your hotel or place of residence at 7:00 am, our guide will brief you about Bwindi Forest Gorilla Trekking and the journey to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park will begin. Stop overs made to see the sights on the way to the park and lunch en-route. You will drive though the see-able parts of the parks and settling in to the lodgings for the evening.

The Ultimate Gorilla Encounter - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

On this day you will set out to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park headquarter, you be briefed on the do’s and don’t s of a gorilla tracking activity. You will then be grouped and head into the deep bush with your tour guide to find the friendly gorillas. The mountain gorillas can be trekked by a maximum of 8 people for 2-7 hours. After finding the friendly giants, you will spend an entire hour with them observing their way of life, how they feed their young, how they find their food so that you can interact but also conclude your trip. Afterwards, head straight to the Rock town of Kisoro on the foot of Virunga Mountains and spend your lazy evening.

Virunga Mountain Hike - Either Mount Gahinga 3, 474 m asl or Mount Sabinyo 3, 669 m asl

The day is to day to taste your adrenauline levels with a hike to one of the famous Virunga Mountains. You can eith choose to Hike Mount Mgahinga at 3, 474m asl or Hike the famous Mount Sabinyo at 3, 669m asl and live in 3 countries at once with no visa! Each mountain hike takes approximately 7-8 Hours including ascending and descending. With an eagles view from the top of the world, you can see different parts of Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. Retire the day at your serene lodge.
