Today’s journey takes you to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large population of elephants and iconic baobab-dotted landscape.
This park offers excellent opportunities to spot not only elephants in large herds but also predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with a wide variety of herbivores and bird species. Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park, getting up close to the wildlife in their natural habitat.
At midday, you’ll stop for a scenic picnic lunch near the Tarangire River—keep an eye out for playful monkeys who might try to sneak a bite!

From Mto wa Mbu to the Wild Plains of Serengeti

After breakfast, your journey continues toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
En route, you’ll stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater—an ideal spot to take in the breathtaking landscape and capture stunning photos. The journey then continues across the highlands and into the vast plains of the Serengeti.
Upon arrival in the early afternoon, enjoy a packed lunch before heading out on a late afternoon game drive, offering your first glimpse of the Serengeti’s incredible wildlife.
As the sun sets, you’ll make your way to Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

After an early breakfast, set out on a game drive to explore various regions of the park, where you can encounter a wide range of wildlife and experience the diverse ecosystems within this remarkable landscape. Following your morning adventure, return to camp for a well-deserved lunch and take time to pack your belongings in preparation for the journey ahead to Ngorongoro. This evening, you will spend the night at Simba Campsite, ideally located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Rest well and prepare for an early start the next morning, when you will descend into the crater to continue your safari experience.

After an early breakfast, we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater in search of the elusive black rhinos. While the crater floor offers excellent visibility for most wildlife, rhinos remain among the rarest and most challenging to spot. Following a morning game drive, enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon safari. Later, we will ascend the crater and proceed to Ngedere Camp, where you can unwind and relax in a tranquil setting.

After an early breakfast, we will depart for Lake Manyara National Park. During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of birdlife, including the iconic flamingos that grace the lake’s shores. With some luck, you may also witness the renowned tree-climbing lions, a unique attraction of the park. We will visit the hippo pool for an up-close view of these impressive creatures, as well as the nearby hot springs. Along the way, expect to encounter a variety of wildlife such as buffalo, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, and monkeys. Following the game drive, we will return to your pre-arranged accommodation for rest and relaxation.

Today, we will visit Materuni Village, where you will embark on a moderately challenging hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Following the hike, we will tour a local coffee farm to learn about the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of coffee. You will have the unique opportunity to participate in roasting and brewing a fresh cup of traditional, locally grown coffee. Afterwards, we will proceed to Kikuletwa Hot Springs, a serene natural warm-water spring renowned for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque setting—an ideal spot for relaxation and swimming. At the conclusion of your safari, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure.
