Transfer To Akagera

After a packed breakfast at the hotel, depart at 7 AM for Akagera National Park, a 3-hour drive. After registration and a briefing at the park reception, enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting animals like giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, topis, and elephants. Around 1 PM, have lunch, then continue the game drive. Later, relax at your hotel for the night.

Gorilla Trekking & Iby'Iwacu Community Visit

Early Morning Preparation: Enjoy breakfast and prepare for a day of adventure. Pack snacks and bottled water for your trek.
Gorilla Trekking: Head to Kinigi for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. At 8:00 AM, your expert guide will lead you into the bamboo forest in search of one of Volcanoes National Park’s 13 gorilla families. Once located, you will spend one hour observing and photographing these magnificent creatures.
Community Visit: After the trek, return to the lodge to relax and share your experiences. Later in the evening, embark on a cultural tour of Iby’Iwacu Village, where you’ll gain insight into traditional Rwandan life.
