You'll arrive at Kigali International Airport and meet your private guide. You'll begin your adventure with a half-day city tour, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft markets, and city landmarks. This introductory tour offers insight into Rwanda’s resilience, culture, and history. Afterward, we will transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll depart for Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (approx. 4–5 hours). The scenic drive takes you through Rwanda’s rolling hills and volcanic landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge with views of the Virunga volcanoes. You'll spend the afternoon at leisure, preparing for the next day’s golden monkey trek, or enjoy the lodge amenities and surrounding forest trails.

You'll arrive at your lodge nestled at the forest edge, providing serene views and early access for the gorilla trek the following day. You'll spend the afternoon at leisure to relax or enjoy a guided forest walk.

Gorilla Trekking in Impenetrable National Park
Today is the highlight of your safari: gorilla trekking. After an early morning briefing, you'll venture into the forest with expert rangers in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take 2–6 hours, depending on their location, but the reward of spending an hour observing these gentle giants is unforgettable. You'll return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxed afternoon.

Transfer to Kibale National Park
You'll depart after breakfast for Kibale Forest National Park (approx. 4–5 hours), home to over 1,300 chimpanzees and 13 other primate species. Upon arrival, you'll settle into your lodge and enjoy optional activities such as a Bigodi Wetlands walk, ideal for birdwatching and spotting colobus monkeys.

You'll begin the day with a chimpanzee trekking expedition, following well-maintained trails guided by experienced rangers. After the trek, you'll drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 3–4 hours) for an evening at leisure or a short game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, famous for lions and elephants.

You'll start with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains to spot wildlife, followed by a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife gather along the water. After the cruise, you'll begin the return journey to Kigali (approx. 6–7 hours), enjoying scenic views and stops along the way. You will arrive in time for airport drop-off or an overnight stay in Kigali.
