Full-day game drives in Serengeti. Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and, seasonally, the Great Migration. Picnic lunch in the bush.

Another full day in Serengeti with both morning and afternoon game drives, giving you the best chance to witness the park’s incredible wildlife. Expect to encounter large prides of lions, cheetahs hunting on the open plains, elephants moving through the woodlands, and an abundance of antelopes and birdlife. In the evening, return to your camp to relax. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at extra cost.

Today you will explore the unique landscapes of Lake Natron. Take a guided walk to beautiful waterfalls hidden within the rift valley cliffs and cool off in the natural pools. Visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their way of life, culture, and traditions. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic walk along the shores of Lake Natron where thousands of flamingos gather, creating stunning pink reflections on the soda lake.

Day 6

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara, a park famous for its dramatic scenery and rich wildlife.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across its lush forests, open floodplains, and lakeside habitat. Keep an eye out for the park’s rare tree-climbing lions, hippos wallowing in the lake, elephants moving through the woodland, and more than 400 species of birds, including flamingos and pelicans.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and underrated reserves. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and rolling savannahs. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen in big numbers near the Tarangire River, as well as giraffes, zebras, lions, and countless bird species.

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tarangire, giving you one last chance to spot elephants, lions, or even leopards before leaving the park. After brunch, depart by road back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. Alternatively, a scheduled flight can be arranged directly from Tarangire airstrip to Arusha or Zanzibar at extra cost.
Your unforgettable 8-day safari adventure through northern Tanzania comes to an end.
