Day 1

Our safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or directly from the airport. After a briefing, you will depart for Lake Naivasha, driving along the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment, where you can stop at viewpoints to take photos of the dramatic landscapes.

Arrive at Naivasha in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a leisurely boat ride on Lake Naivasha, famous for its large pods of hippos, fish eagles, and a wide variety of birdlife. The peaceful waters offer an excellent introduction to Kenya’s lake region.

For those interested, an optional visit to Crescent Island is available, where you can enjoy a guided walking safari among free-roaming giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and other plains game in a predator-free environment.

Day 2

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. This park, known as the “birdwatcher’s paradise,” was once home to millions of flamingos that created a pink shoreline. Today, it is equally famous for being a rhino sanctuary, protecting both black and white rhinos.

In the afternoon, set out on a game drive across the park’s diverse landscapes—woodlands, grasslands, and rocky escarpments. You’ll have a chance to spot buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, and troops of playful baboons. As the sun sets over the acacia-dotted savannah, return to your lodge for dinner.

After breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife reserve. The journey takes you across the Rift Valley floor, past rural villages and rolling hills, before arriving in the Mara in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara, where the open plains and big skies provide a dramatic backdrop to some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife. Look out for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and countless antelopes.

Return to your camp or lodge for dinner, with the sounds of the African night surrounding you.

This day is dedicated to exploring the wonders of the Masai Mara. After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch in the reserve, allowing you to venture deeper into the park in search of wildlife.

The Mara is renowned not only for its abundance of predators but also for the spectacular Great Migration (July–October), when millions of wildebeest and zebras cross from the Serengeti into the Mara, creating one of the greatest natural spectacles on Earth.

Alternatively, you can opt for morning and afternoon game drives, returning to your lodge for a hot lunch and some rest in between. For those seeking a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, a hot air balloon safari can be arranged at dawn (extra cost), offering sweeping views of the savannah followed by a champagne breakfast on landing.

Later, you may also visit a Maasai village (optional), where you’ll meet the Maasai people and learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life.
