Day 1
Arusha to Lake Manyara
Arusha to Lake Manyara
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After a scenic drive (about 2–3 hours), you’ll arrive at Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its small size, this park offers incredible biodiversity, with lush forests, open grasslands, and the picturesque lake that draws thousands of flamingos and other bird species.
Enjoy a game drive through the park’s varied landscapes in search of elephants, baboons, hippos, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. A picnic lunch will be served in one of the park’s designated areas.
In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge or campsite in the Mto wa Mbu or Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, about an hour’s drive away. This park is known for its vast savannahs, towering baobab trees, and especially its large elephant population. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive, with opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and many more.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park at a scenic location. Your guide will take you through different parts of the park, increasing your chances of spotting a wide variety of wildlife.
Return to your accommodation in Karatu in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s best wildlife-viewing areas.
Spend the morning on a game drive across the crater floor, home to an incredible concentration of animals including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino. You’ll also see hippos, zebras, jackals, and an abundance of birds.
After a picnic lunch at a designated spot near the hippo pool, begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
