Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, your guide will pick you up and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant populations. On arrival, enjoy a thrilling game drive across the savannahs where lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests roam freely. The Tarangire River, a vital water source, draws in a wide variety of animals, making for excellent game viewing. In the late afternoon, head to your midrange lodge near the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending 600 meters into the world-famous crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” offering a chance to spot the Big Five in one place. The crater floor is teeming with wildlife, from herds of wildebeests and zebras to predators like lions and hyenas, and even rare black rhinos. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot inside the crater. Later, ascend and proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a comfortable midrange lodge.

On your final day, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a jewel known for its lush groundwater forest, flocks of pink flamingos, and famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a morning game drive where you may also encounter elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and countless bird species. After exploring this beautiful park, have lunch en route before driving back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari filled with incredible memories.
