Full-day exploration in this great savannah with wildlife

After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day drive, with a packed lunch provided.

The savannah scenery is quite magical as it is dotted with balanite trees and croton bushes. During the great migration (every year between June and October), about 2 million wildebeests migrate into the Kenyan side of the savannah, across the Mara River, accompanied by zebras and antelopes, while predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas follow them closely to have a feast. At around lunchtime, you will enjoy lunch under one of the balanite trees. Thereafter, enjoy more game drives as you return to your hotel with great sunset views.

For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded. These include 16 species of eagles, many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 species of bustards (including the kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds, among others like sparrows, swallows, shrikes, stilts and weaver birds.
