After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park approx. 2.5 hrs.
Full day game drive inside Tarangire. This park is famous for its ancient baobabs, vast elephant herds, and excellent birdlife. You may also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and buffalo.
Evening: After dinner at Korongo Luxury Camp, join a Night Game Drive at 19:30 pm with Tanapa ranger—look for civets, bush babies, porcupines, and possibly leopards or lions.
Guide’s Evening Session: Before the night drive, your guide explains nocturnal behavior vs daytime activity. After returning, recap the day’s highlights and preview tomorrow’s journey to Karatu.

Day 2

After breakfast enjoy another game drive – Explore the Tarangire River, a major water source attracting wildlife.
After lunch depart Tarangire for Karatu (approx. 3 hrs), with stops at Great Rift Valley viewpoints.
Evening: Dinner & overnight at Kankari Lodge.
Guide’s Evening Session: Recap Tarangire sightings, share nocturnal stories from the night drive, and brief guests on Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 3

Early breakfast, then descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Spot the Big 5, zebras, wildebeest, and hippos. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool.
Afternoon drive (4–5 hrs) to Serengeti Central, stopping at scenic viewpoints.
Evening: Check in at Shuhudia Tented Camp for Dinner served under the Serengeti sky.

Day 6

In the morning, depart Serengeti to Mwanza via Ikoma corridor. Scenic landscapes along the way.
Travel day to Mwanza (approx. 5-6 hrs). No game drives scheduled.
Evening: Arrive at Lahe Hotel or Mwanza lake view farm lodge. Optional 1-hour stroll through Mwanza town and lakeshore.
Guide’s Evening Session: Recap Serengeti highlights, introduce Lake Victoria and western culture.

Day 7

Drive via Busisi Bridge & Geita to Muganza-Kasenda gate (3 hrs). Register, then 30-min boat transfer to Rubondo Island.
Activities: Lunch at Rubondo Bandas, followed by a short hike to spot sitatunga, hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. At 16:30, enjoy a sunset boat safari.

Day 9
Kigoma – Mahale Mountains National Park

Depart Kigoma in the morning (07:30–08:00 am) for a 7–8 hour scenic but rough road journey to Mahale Mountains National Park. On the way, cross from Ilagala to Kajeje via local ferry, enjoying views of Lake Tanganyika and surrounding villages.
Arrive at Bilenge Headquarters for park registration, then take a 30-minute boat ride across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tanganyika. As you approach Kasiha, the forest-clad mountains rise dramatically from the lake—your first breathtaking view of Mahale.
Check in at Tanapa Bandas, set right on the lake’s edge. Dinner and overnight at Tanapa Kasiha Bandas.

After breakfast, begin your first guided chimpanzee tracking with your professional guide.
Track the Mimikire group, one of Africa’s best-habituated chimp communities, deep in the Mahale forest.
After hot lunch afternoon at leisure or optional of Kayaking on the clear waters of Lake Tanganyika.
Evening walk to Kasiha Water Pool for a refreshing swim in a natural spring.
Dinner and overnight at Kasiha Bandas.

After breakfast, head into the forest for chimpanzee tracking with your professional guide, assisted by experienced trackers who follow the chimps’ movements. Spend time observing them in their natural habitat and learning about their behavior, social structures, and daily routines.
Return for lunch and rest at the bandas. In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset boat cruise on Lake Tanganyika, with stunning views of the Mahale Mountains.
Dinner and overnight at Kasiha Bandas.

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mahale staff and at 08:30 am, take the boat back to Bilenge.
From Bilenge, then long scenic drive to Kigoma, passing through villages, farmland, and palm plantations.
On the route, cross via local ferry from Kajeje back to Ilagala before continuing to Kigoma.
Arrival in Kigoma and drop-off at Lake Tanganyika hotel.
