Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, the primary gateway to Uganda, you'll be greeted by the warm African breeze and the vibrant energy of the country. From the airport, you'll be transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe, the bustling capital city of Uganda. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore the charming town of Entebbe or simply unwind and relax at your lodge, immersing yourself in the serene surroundings.

Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After a delicious breakfast, you'll catch a domestic flight from Entebbe to Kihihi Airstrip, the nearest airstrip to the magnificent Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your chosen lodge in the Bwindi region, where you'll have the afternoon to relax and acclimatize to the breathtaking surroundings. The drive from the airstrip to the lodge is about 79 km. The roads are not very good so our speed is reduced as you drive through the countryside.

Return to Entebbe for Departure

After a hearty breakfast, you will bid farewell to the mesmerizing wilderness of Bwindi as you transfer to the local airstrip (Kihihi or Ishasha) for your flight back to Entebbe International Airport. Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time for last-minute souvenir shopping or to engage in additional activities.

From Entebbe, you'll either continue your onward journey to explore more of Africa's wonders or head back home, carrying with you cherished memories of your unforgettable Ugandan adventure.
