Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobab Wonders

Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobab Wonders

Habari za asubuhi! After breakfast, we begin our safari adventure with a drive to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. During the dry season (June–October), the Tarangire River becomes a lifeline, attracting a rich variety of animals — zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, and lions.

We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, then continue our game drives through the scenic plains. Keep your camera ready — Tarangire is known for stunning sunsets and beautiful landscapes.

In the evening, we drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn in Karatu (mid-range), where a warm dinner and cozy room await.

Ngorongoro Crater – The Eden of Africa

After an early breakfast, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most stunning wildlife sanctuaries. The crater floor is alive with incredible wildlife — from lions and elephants to buffaloes, zebras, and even the rare black rhino. As you explore, you’ll feel the magic of this natural wonder where humans and wildlife seem to exist in perfect balance.

We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, where you can stretch your legs and take in the calm sounds of the wild before continuing our game drive.

In the afternoon, we slowly ascend the crater rim and begin our drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. Tonight, you’ll rest at the peaceful Under The Shade Safari Lodge, surrounded by beautiful gardens and the cool Arusha breeze.

Enjoy a town walking tour, exploring Arusha’s colorful streets and small shops.

Try local food experiences — maybe a taste of “chipsi mayai” or Swahili pilau.
