Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or directly from the airport and transferred to our office for a safari briefing. Meet other tourists and your driver-guide before starting the journey to the Masai Mara. Make a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall. The second stop will be in Narok town for stretching and purchasing any items needed for the safari. Arrive at your camp in the afternoon for lunch and check in. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and perhaps cheetahs as the sun sets over the savannah. Later you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the camp for a full-day game drive within the reserve. The landscape here features scenic savannah grasslands on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park in Kenya for game viewing, with a good road network that allows close-range observation of the animals. Break for a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while watching for hippos and crocodiles. After the evening game drive, return to the camp and enjoy an optional activity such as a nature walk. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Today we have scheduled an early visit with the Maasai people for an exclusive cultural engagement. Learn about their way of life, social interactions, and relationships with neighboring communities. You will enjoy traditional dances, see their distinctive houses, and gain insight into their daily activities.

Later, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stopover for a hot lunch. Arrive at your Nakuru hotel in the early evening, check in, spend the evening at your leisure, then enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.

After an African breakfast at Buraha Zenoni with other tourists, you will check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Complete registration formalities and enjoy a Kenya safari experience with a visit to the lake for bird watching. Proceed to the rhinoceros sanctuary in search of white and black rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park hosts various wild animals except elephants and cheetahs. Expect to see lions, zebras, giraffes, impalas, antelopes, waterbucks, buffalos, and leopards, among others. At 1100 hrs, exit the park and drive to Naivasha, arriving at a nearby resort in time for lunch. Spend the evening at your leisure, with an option to visit the lake for a boat ride at an extra cost.

Depart the hotel immediately after breakfast and drive to Hell’s Gate for registration. Choose between cycling or enjoying a drive. Hell’s Gate National Park is one of the few places in Kenya where you can walk alongside wild animals, as there are no predators. Take great pictures with animals in the background as you descend into Hell’s Gate Gorge. At the gorge, enjoy a guided nature walk with local guides to enhance your Kenya safari experience. Later, ascend to the gate exit and leave Naivasha with a stopover for a hot lunch before driving to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your camp before sunset for check-in, relaxation, dinner, a bonfire, and your overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park is known for its large herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, leave with packed picnic lunches in hand for an extensive game drive in the park. Cross the Amboseli plains and enjoy close encounters with wild animals. Stop at the Amboseli viewpoint for incredible views of the park and have a picnic lunch at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit the swampy areas for more game viewing as elephants graze and bathe. In the evening, exit the park and drive to the campsite for an optional activity, dinner, bonfire, and your overnight stay.
