1-Day Tarangire - Giants Among Baobabs

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your private safari begins with an early 6:00 AM departure from Arusha, traveling 120 kilometers southwest through scenic Maasai landscapes. you're immediately greeted by the park's iconic giant baobab trees, some over 300 years old, standing as sentinels over the savannah.

The morning progresses through varied habitats from dense acacia woodlands to open grassland plains. Keep your camera ready for lions lounging in tree branches and leopards camouflaged in dappled shade. The park also hosts healthy populations of buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and fringe-eared oryx.
Around midday, stop at a scenic picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River for a delicious packed lunch while watching elephants and wildlife visit the water below. The afternoon game drive offers excellent bird watching opportunities including yellow-collared lovebirds, Kori bustards, and various eagles.
Return to Arusha around 4:00 PM, arriving by approximately 6:30 PM with unforgettable memories.
