1-Day Londorossi Route Day-Hike - into the Wild Slopes

Depart Arusha early morning (around 6:00 am) for a 3-hour drive to the Londrossi Gate (2,250m). After registration and a briefing from the park rangers, begin your hike through lush rainforest rich with blue monkeys, colobus monkeys, and tropical bird species. The trail gradually ascends through giant ferns and towering trees, offering incredible views of the Shira Plateau in the distance. Enjoy a packed lunch in the forest clearing before continuing a little higher toward Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,780m), where you’ll pause for rest and photos. Later in the afternoon, descend leisurely to the gate where your driver will be waiting for the return drive to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
