Shoebill tracking in Mabamba and Private Sunset Cruise

This day begins with a sunrise boat trip to Mabamba Swamp, one of the best places in Africa to spot the rare and majestic Shoebill stork. You will glide quietly through the papyrus in a traditional canoe, birdwatching as the wetland comes alive. After the trek, you will return to your lodge for a late breakfast and some leisure time. In the afternoon, enjoy a private sunset cruise on Lake Victoria, complete with bubbly and light bites which is a tranquil and romantic experience to toast the journey ahead.

Fly to Kisoro Airstrip and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will take a scenic domestic flight Kisoro airstrip, followed by a luxury transfer in a 4 x 4 air conditioned safari vehicle to your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Today you will rise early for the once-in-a-lifetime mountain gorilla trekking experience.
