Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your mountain gorilla trek, an unforgettable honeymoon highlight. With expert trackers and a small group, hike into the forest to locate one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. The trek can take between 1 and 6 hours, depending on where the gorillas are that day, but the reward is beyond words: one magical hour spent face-to-face with these gentle giants, observing their behaviors and deep family bonds. After the trek, return to the lodge for a warm lunch, rest, or optional spa treatment. Celebrate your adventure with sunset drinks and a romantic dinner, reminiscing about a day you’ll never forget.
