Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your group will be warmly welcomed by a professional tour guide and transferred to your guesthouse or student-friendly hotel. After check-in and some time to rest, gather for a welcome briefing covering the week’s itinerary, safety, culture, and expectations. If time allows, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), where students can learn about native species and ongoing conservation efforts. In the evening, enjoy a group dinner and orientation activity.

Day 2

Transfer to Jinja and Visit to the Source of the Nile
After breakfast, set off for Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital, located on the northern shore of Lake Victoria. En route, stop at Sezibwa Falls, a culturally significant site known for its traditional spiritual importance. Arrive in Jinja in time for lunch, followed by a visit to the Source of the Nile, where students can take a short boat ride and learn about the river’s history and geography. In the afternoon, participate in a community exchange or volunteer activity with a local youth or women’s empowerment project, offering a chance to connect with peers. Dinner and reflections in the evening.

Day 3

Spend the day focused on cultural learning and environmental education. Visit a local school for a cultural exchange—participate in music, dance, and storytelling with Ugandan students. In the afternoon, tour a sustainable farm or eco-initiative, such as a permaculture training center, to learn about agriculture, clean energy, and food security. This interactive session promotes understanding of local livelihoods and the role of youth in climate resilience. Return to the lodge for a group discussion and campfire dinner.

After an early breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most biodiverse reserve. The long but scenic drive includes educational stops to discuss geography, climate zones, and rural development. Arrive at the park in the late afternoon and settle into your accommodation. Before dinner, attend a conservation talk by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, focusing on anti-poaching, human-wildlife conflict, and park management. Optional night wildlife drive if conditions permit.

Later, explore the Amabere Caves and waterfalls, learning about local legends, geology, and traditional beliefs. Enjoy a farewell group dinner and prepare for the return journey.
