Begin your day with an early breakfast before setting out on a thrilling wildlife game drive in the Southern Serengeti (Ndutu area) to witness the spectacular wildebeest calving season. Depart from Arusha and journey toward the Ndutu area, where the southern plains of the Serengeti meet the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The Ndutu calving season, a pinnacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration, typically takes place from late January to March. During this period, over 400,000 wildebeest calves are born, drawn to the lush, nutrient-rich grasses that flourish after the short rains. The Southern Serengeti and Ndutu transform into a vibrant nursery, where newborns are safeguarded—and hunted—amid the presence of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
After an immersive day tracking the herds, a packed lunch will be served at a scenic picnic spot within the park. As the day draws to a close, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart from the lodge and journey toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You’ll descend nearly 600 meters into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage Site often celebrated as the “Garden of Eden.” Spend the day on an unforgettable game drive within this vast natural amphitheater, renowned for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Expect encounters with lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, the rare black rhino, and vibrant flocks of flamingos coloring the waters of Lake Magadi. A scenic picnic lunch on the crater floor crowns this remarkable experience before you ascend the crater rim.
