Day 1

Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha/ Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

Your tour starts early (pick-up time varies based on your Zanzibar hotel) with a transfer to the airport for your 8:00 am flight to Arusha. Arriving at 9:15 am, your driver-guide will take you on a 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, sharing stories about Arusha and Maasai culture.

Tarangire is famous for its rich biodiversity and large elephant herds, with landscapes ranging from seasonal swamps to savannas, crossed by the Tarangire River. You might witness lions stalking prey or leopards resting in trees.

Enjoy a packed lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive. The afternoon safari ends at 4:00 pm, followed by a drive to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2

Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. The crater is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations and is home to a high concentration of animals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and if lucky, the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater near the hippo pool while surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its stunning landscapes, volcanic formation, and excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five in a single day.

After the game drive, you will ascend the crater and proceed with a scenic transfer back to Arusha where you will arrive in the evening at airport for flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
