Depart from Nairobi in the morning, descending the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Arrive at Talek Bush Camp, located on the banks of the Talek River near the Talek Gate, in time for lunch.[5] After settling into your elevated wooden-deck tent, embark on an afternoon game drive to spot lions, cheetahs, and the resident hippos at the nearby viewpoint.

The third day allows for a deeper exploration of the Mara’s riverine forests and open plains. Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, the safari heads north toward Lake Nakuru, a ramsar site famous for its birdlife and as a sanctuary for both black and white rhinoceroses. Accommodation is at the Chester Hotel in Nakuru town. The afternoon game drive focuses on the lake's shores, where flamingos often create a pink hue across the water, and leopards are frequently sighted in the yellow-barked acacia trees.

A long but scenic drive takes guests toward the border of Tanzania to Amboseli National Park. Known as the "Land of Giants," Amboseli is famous for having some of the largest tusker elephants in Africa. Check-in at Nyati Safari Camp, located at the Kimana Gate, offering views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

The day is spent traversing the swamps of Amboseli, which are fed by underground meltwater from Kilimanjaro. These wetlands attract a high density of hippos, buffaloes, and waterfowl. The clear morning air provides the best opportunity for photography of elephants against the backdrop of Africa's highest peak.

Amboseli to Nairobi
After a final early morning game drive and breakfast at Nyati Camp, you depart from Amboseli National Park and head back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for international departure, or at a city hotel if you have arranged to spend more time there through prior bookings.
