Enjoy a full day in Nairobi, either relaxing at your hotel or exploring the city’s highlights. You may choose from optional activities such as a game drive in Nairobi National Park, a visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see rescued baby elephants, or a stop at the historic Karen Blixen Museum and the famous Giraffe Centre, where you can feed and interact with Rothschild giraffes. Kenya’s capital is the perfect blend of wildlife, culture, and history.

You’ll begin your safari at 0900 hrs with a scenic drive to Amboseli (approximately four hours). Lunch will be served at the lodge, followed in the afternoon by a game drive in Elerai Conservancy, ending with sundowner drinks at a scenic viewpoint. An optional hot-air balloon flight can be arranged for the following morning upon request at booking.
Amboseli, located in southern Kenya near the Tanzanian border, is renowned for its stunning landscapes dominated by the towering presence of Mount Kilimanjaro. The region features diverse ecosystems, including open savannahs, wetlands, and acacia woodlands, making it a prime destination for wildlife viewing and breathtaking scenery.

Embark on a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, with wildlife sightings set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, followed in the afternoon by a visit to a local Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close, and other animals that are quite easy to spot include leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lion, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik, lesser kudu, and nocturnal porcupine. The park also has prolific birdlife, featuring more than 600 species.

Journey south into Tsavo West National Park, stopping to explore the Shetani Lava Flow and the crystal-clear waters of Mzima Springs, then arrive at your camp in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at your leisure or opt for a short game drive, flexible to your preferences and to be discussed with your driver-guide. Tsavo West is a popular destination due to its magnificent scenery, with Mzima Springs as a star attraction. It features a pool of natural spring water with underwater viewing stations for observing hippos and crocodiles, as well as rich and varied wildlife, a good road system, and a rhino sanctuary.

Enjoy a full-day, or split morning and afternoon, game drive across the rugged, lava-sculpted landscapes of Tsavo West National Park, where wildlife viewing is both diverse and scenic. Explore acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout, offering views of teeming herds across the plains below. Tsavo West provides some of the most magnificent game-viewing in the world, including elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, and a variety of plant and bird species such as the threatened corncrake and the near-threatened Basra reed warbler. Optional activities organized by the lodge include guided walking safaris and bird-watching excursions.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final game drive through Tsavo West National Park en route to the park gate. Continue to Tsavo East (2–3 hours), with wildlife viewing along the way. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across the vast plains, home to large elephant herds and buffalo. Tsavo East, Kenya’s largest park, offers a truly remote safari experience with flatter, drier, and more open savannahs than its western counterpart, making game viewing easier, especially around permanent water sources. It is ideal for encountering large numbers of elephants, spectacular herds of buffalo, and enjoying a wild, uncrowded environment.

Enjoy a full-day or split morning and afternoon game drive exploring Tsavo East National Park, ending the day with sundowner drinks at a scenic viewpoint. Tsavo East offers excellent wildlife-safari opportunities in pristine wilderness. All of the “Big Five” are present, with elephants common throughout the park, their red-dust coating making them stand out against the arid landscape. Lions are the most easily spotted of the big cats due to the open plains. Other commonly seen animals include buffalo, zebras, and Masai giraffes. The park is also one of the few places to see fringed-eared oryx, lesser kudu, long-necked gerenuk, and the critically endangered hirola, or Hunter's hartebeest.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive en route to the park gate, then continue to Diani Beach. This vibrant, intimate paradise lies on the quiet shores of the Indian Ocean, just south of Mombasa. The area features two cottages designed for couples, offering privacy and coziness, while still being close to restaurants, water sports, and other amenities. The region includes Tiwi Beach, Galu Beach, Chale Island, Funzi Island, Msambweni, and Kinondo, where pearly-white sands meet turquoise waters, creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable African holiday. The area is also known for coral reefs, colobus monkeys, kite-surfing, sky-diving, and proximity to Shimba Hills National Reserve and Kisite Marine National Reserve.

Spend the day at your leisure on Diani Beach, enjoying sunbathing, swimming, or a variety of optional activities such as visits to Funzi Island or Wasini Island, snorkeling, diving, exploring tropical forests, and kite surfing. The clear, warm waters of the Indian Ocean are ideal for water sports. Divers can explore 30 dive sites within a half-hour boat trip from Diani Beach, with near-perfect visibility. Snorkeling is easily done by walking into the shallow water, which offers a clear view of the sandy bottom, and the beach also provides excellent conditions for wind and kite surfing.

This is a free day to relax and enjoy the Indian Ocean at Diani Beach, a perfect place to unwind. The beach combines soft sands, clear waters, and lush tropical vegetation. Just inland, the tropical rainforest is home to a variety of wildlife, including the special and indigenous colobus monkey.
