Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading southwest towards Tarangire National Park a journey of about two hours. Upon arrival, you'll immediately be greeted by the park's iconic landscape: vast savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees and winding river systems. Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, especially during the dry season, and you'll likely see them gathered near the Tarangire River along with zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of antelope. Keep your eyes peeled for tree-climbing pythons and the park’s many bird species over 500 recorded here.
