City Tour of Addis Ababa

Breakfast and get ready for the start of your city tour. At 9:00 am, you'll depart from your Hotel and start city tour for a full day experience. You will visit the Holly Trinity Cathedral, Merkato, Entoto Mountain and visit to the National Museum. The Holly Trinity Cathedral is one of the most important religious site in Ethiopia. After visiting the cathedral, you will proceed with a visit to Merkato market which will show you how daily shopping is done in Ethiopian capital and there is a segment for souvenirs shopping which will allow you to buy any souvenirs you may need. At Entoto mountains, you will have a panoramic view of the Addis Ababa, Ethiopian Capital and from there, you will be able to visit the National Museum housing the remains of Lucy which is the oldest homo sapiens believed to have lived over 3 millions ago. During the drive along the city, you will have a city sightseeing and different monuments that are important for the history of Ethiopia and Addis Ababa.

Debre Libanos

After breakfast, you'll drive to the Debre libanos passing through the old commercial bridge during early days of trade and explorations and proceed to see the waterfall and cave home to the gelada baboons. Afterwards, proceed with a visit to the Monastery of Debre Azbo founded in the 13th century and get to see the octagonal church. Afterwards, drive back to Addis, meals and overnight at your Hotel.

Suba Menagesha park

After breakfast, you will embark on a beautiful 2 hours hike in Suba Menagesha Forest Reserve. This is one of the old conservation areas in Ethiopia and providing truly wonderful experience for nature lovers. You will be able to see unique plant species including giant lobelias, heather and ragweed. Afterwards, return back to your Hotel or proceed to Kigali depending on your departure time. Meals and overnight at your Hotel.

Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Musanze
