After breakfast, you will travel with your safari guide to Tarangire National Park, a landscape defined by vast savannahs, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and the Tarangire River. The river attracts large numbers of animals seeking water and relief from the heat. During your game drive, you may spot elephant herds, giraffes, bushbuck, hartebeest, as well as buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest, often watched by predators like lions and leopards. Enjoy panoramic views and wildlife sightings from the open roof of your vehicle, followed by a picnic lunch with coffee and soft drinks. Later, you will continue to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will journey through the Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping at the crater rim to admire sweeping views of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing toward the vast plains of the Serengeti stretching to the horizon. Known as the “endless plains,” the Serengeti supports more than two million wildebeest along with countless other species. From January to April, wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle give birth, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas that follow the migrating herds. The area is also home to smaller mammals including hyrax, bat-eared fox, mongoose, honey badger, jackal, monkeys, baboons, and African hare, as well as over 500 bird species. After an eventful game drive, you will return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

You will start the day very early with a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active and the morning light creates a truly memorable African sunrise. Afterward, you will return to camp for breakfast, check out, and continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. This immense caldera supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the world, hosting nearly all East African species, including the rare black rhino. Within the crater are rivers, swamps, a soda lake that appears to steam, forested areas, and wide open plains. The rich volcanic soils also support impressive bull elephants with massive tusks. Lunch will be enjoyed during this remarkable game drive.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
After an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend down a steep track into the caldera to enjoy your last game drive. You will experience a breathtaking range of animals and birds. The caldera (a collapsed volcano) is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) to over 500 species of birds. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater and then make your way back up the crater rim in the afternoon. You will then drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. This is where your safari will end.
