This day begins with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a detailed briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety. Accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers, you embark on an unforgettable trek through Bwindi’s misty rainforest, navigating steep trails, dense vegetation, and rich biodiversity. The hike can take from one to several hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Upon locating them, you’ll spend a magical hour observing their behaviour—watching infants play, mothers nurture, and the dominant silverback guard his family. It’s a profound and emotional wildlife encounter found nowhere else on earth.

After your gorilla tracking experience, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, where your lodge will offer one of the breathtaking views of the Lake. On arrival, you will check in and stay overnight.

Later in the morning, check out and embark on your scenic drive to Kigali, Rwanda. The journey takes you through rolling highlands and charming border towns, offering glimpses of rural life and lush countryside. Upon arrival in Kigali, you may stop briefly at a local craft market or enjoy lunch en route before continuing to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
