Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport (EBB), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari driver-guide, marking the start of your Ugandan adventure in the Pearl of Africa. After completing immigration and baggage formalities, you’ll meet and greet our representative, who will later transfer you to your lodge, where you can unwind and settle in after your journey. If your arrival schedule allows, you may choose to take an optional excursion to the a well-curated Entebbe Botanical Gardens, renowned for their lush greenery, vibrant bird species, and playful vervet monkeys, all set against the serene backdrop of Lake Victoria. Day 2

The day begins with a scenic drive from Entebbe to Kibale National Park, a journey of approximately 5–6 hours that winds through Uganda’s lush highlands. Along the way, you’ll see tea plantations, crater lakes, etc The landscape gradually transforms from lowland savanna to the dense greenery of western Uganda, building anticipation for the forest adventures ahead.
In the afternoon, you explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The swamp is a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 200 species, including the striking Great Blue Turaco, papyrus gonolek, and other species. The area is a primate paradise, such as red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, and chimpanzees, giving you a rich glimpse into Uganda’s biodiversity. From the swamp walk, the community experience introduces you to traditional village life, where you will learn how banana gin is brewed, coffee experience, you will end your day with a return to your lodge and overnight relaxation.

Today begins with an early breakfast before heading to Kibale National Park’s Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a pre-trek briefing by experienced rangers. You’ll then venture into the lush tropical forest, home to over 1,500 chimpanzees and 12 other primate species. As you walk beneath towering mahogany and fig trees, the forest comes alive with the calls of chimpanzees echoing through the canopy. Once located, you’ll spend an unforgettable hour watching them feed, groom, and play — a captivating window into their complex social lives.

After the trek, enjoy lunch and begin your scenic transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive offers striking views of crater lakes and views of mt Rwenzori. Arriving by late afternoon, if time allows, you’ll take a short game drive through the savanna plains, spotting elephants, buffalo, and antelopes against the backdrop of a fiery African sunset. Today begins with an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking experience in Kyambura Gorge, a striking 100-meter-deep canyon carved by the Kyambura River through the savannas of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Often called the “Valley of the Apes,” this hidden rainforest is home to a small, habituated chimpanzee community. Guided by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, you’ll descend into the lush gorge, where filtered sunlight, bird calls, and rustling leaves create an enchanting atmosphere. As you track the chimps, you may encounter red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and vivid forest birds while learning about the gorge’s unique ecology. You will begin with an early breakfast before heading to your assigned sector in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, carrying a packed lunch for the trek. At the park offices, rangers provide a detailed briefing on safety, gorilla behaviour, and trekking etiquette. You then set off on a guided hike through dense, misty rainforest, following expert trackers who locate your gorilla family. The trail winds over steep slopes, through thick vegetation, and across streams, offering glimpses of other forest wildlife and birds. Upon finding the gorillas, spend a magical hour observing their social interactions—silverbacks assertively guarding, mothers nurturing infants, and juveniles playfully tumoring.
